10 years after September 11th, the US military forces finally found and killed Osama bin Laden. Although this is often said to be former President Bush's war, President Obama is Commander in Chief and it was him that made this gutsy, risky decision to send special forces into Abbottobad, Pakistan and kill Bin Laden. This definitely brings some closure and justice, but it will never bring back all the men and women that lost their lives on 9/11 and all the men and women that have lost their lives serving our country. His death however "doesn't mark the end of our effort" in combating Al Qaeda (President Obama).
It is unfortunate and shameful however that this man, Osama bin Laden, and Al Qaeda has given Islam/ Muslims such a horrible name. Here in America, to many people, Islam will always be synonymous terrorism.
Thank you all the brave men and women that have given their life for us.
